Details make the difference! In this example, the two toned neutral/ white linen shade is patterned with exquisite geometric embroidery and finished with on-trend bobble trim. The relaxed shape along with organic colors and materials softens the crisp geometric look. The overall effect of the shade is stylish yet approachable making it a great companion to the coral ikat print draperies. The draperies are also linen with cotton interlining and our best cotton sateen lining. The luxurious texture of them can be seen even before it is felt. Rich grey velvet is pleated into a banding to define the edge and bring out the grey tones of the drapery. The effect of pleated velvet is a softer, more approachable geometric similar to the shade. One of the things that makes this combination work is constraint of color. We have only one color accented by off white and dark grey that create drama but not color play. This allows the geometric lines and textural changes to have important roles.
This drapery is mounted on a clear acrylic pole with antique brass rings and clear modern crystal finials. You may have seen this treatment at our display at the Home Expo in Nashville.
