Trims along the bottom edges of drapery makes them look finished, particularly when the fabric is solid.
To apply trims at the hem line, we recommend machine sewing before making the hem or hand sewing after the hem is made. In all cases basting with pins, liquid adhesives, or fusible adhesives helps prevent trims from creeping while they are sewn (leading to puckers where the trim is sewn to the fabric).
