Deluxe fullness draperies have 7 pleats and a lush look across the body of the draperies. This is a standard option in our custom made draperies online. Our drapery pairs are meant to be stationary, framing the window. But, deluxe fullness draperies can be planned to traverse (move back and forth) on rods up to 49" long. Please contact us to make deluxe width draperies fit your rod just right. There is no additional charge for this service. Custom draperies can be made as wide as necessary to traverse any window or rod length you like. Contact us for pricing and service.
This drapery is made with traditional pleats, also known as three prong pleats, tripple pleats, or French pleats. This style is terrific for shaping the fabric BELOW the pleats so that it comes forward in an organized fashion that tends to maintain it's shape as it falls to the floor. It's a timeless, elegant look ideal for fabric that is thin or moderate in thickness.
* Please note that the leading edge is attached to a drapery ring so that 8 rings are required per drapery panel. This is optional. Our drawing "About Drapery Fullness" indicates 7 rings for 7 pleats. The leading edge is not pinned, but falls back toward the glass. Our designer likes this look, because the leading edge looks natural and lining doesn't peak out. Traditionally, flat fabric at the leading edge OVERLAPS each other in a traversing drapery. With stationary panels, you can choose how to display the leading edges.
