Ginny Williams, a Still Life Artist from Massachusetts, is classically trained at several ateliers, including the Academy of Realist Art, Boston. Influenced by the Northern European Renaissance, she creates still life paintings that employ chiaroscuro and subtle symbolism. Drawing inspiration from her travels abroad and her gardens at home, Williams’ work invites viewers into a deeper engagement with the enduring language of still life. On replicated canvas with hand embellishments, surrounded by a fillet covered in an easy-clean natural linen color and texture. Framed in hardwood with oversized bullnose ogee profile, the gold leaf is hand applied and the espresso finish is antiqued with gold flecks.
